Mnet’s Stage Fighter - CLASSICAL DANCE STYLES 😱!!!
🕑 Added 2024-06-13 00:18:09 +0000 UTCThis just in!!! I’m so excited to react to this in the fall! Who’s tuning in??
(via AllKpop) - Mnet is returning this autumn with another fiery dance competition program, this time featuring male classical dancers.
Following successful competitions like 'Street Woman Fighter', 'Street Man Fighter', and 'Street Woman Fighter 2', Mnet will invite viewers next to the world of classical dance. 'Stage Fighter' will bring together male dancers performing in the following genres - ballet, modern dance, and traditional Korean dance - all poised to show their most breathtaking performances on the competition stage.
Furthermore, these classical dancers from different genres will incorporate modern pop styles into their art for a fun twist that many will find entertaining.
'Stage Fighter' premieres on Mnet this coming September. Will you be watching?

I just saw an article that Road to Kingdom is doing another season in the second half of 2024 too. Were you potentially reacting to that? If Road to Kingdom season 2 doesn't overlap with it Kingdom season 2 after that might. the groups supposedly participating but not yet confirmed according to various articles for Road to Kingdom season 2 are: CRAVITY, ATBO, xikers, THE NEW SIX, YOUNITE, and 8TURN.

I couldn't catch in on all the hype with SWF and SMF, but I love dance so I'm definitely gonna tune in on this one!

i love this too cause one of my main concerns about Street Man Fighter was the lack of diversity in genres of dance. Stoked about this!

Plus, they probably don’t think a second season street man fighter is going to do as well as SWF2 and there’s only so many crews in Korea. It’s probably not the easiest thing to get international crews SWF2 only managed to pull it off because a lot of the foreign dancers were all under Jam Republic. They’re probably running out of jam Republic dancers that want to be on the show.

This feels like the natural next step for Mnet, considering are several male/female idols known for having some type of classical training/background
