So I'm burned out apparently?
🕑 Added 2023-03-16 17:33:49 +0000 UTCSo I had a conversation with my husband late last night and I confided in him that I've been in this huge funk and that my anxiety has been out of control lately. I apologized for being "lazy " and "weak". This horrified him and he said that he's actually been super worried about me. I've been overstimulated like...24/7, I've gotten maybe 20 hours of sleep a week and doing any work sends me into a frenzy. And tbh I feel a little stupid for thinking that I was being subtle so I wouldn't worry him.
He asked me a bunch of questions about my memory, energy level and my headaches and was like "I think you're like...really burnt out." And I was like "damn, you might be right".
So we're retooling my work schedule and the movies I'm supposed to be watching because filming the Get Out intro made me burst into tears for some reason. Who would've thought that talking to someone you love about your anxiety would give you much needed perspective?
Despite this, I don't think this impromptu hiatus will last much longer but I figured that y'all should know what a shambles my brain has been this month. That seasonal depression dismount is brutal, y'all. Take your vitamins.
