I think it's different per situation, but all in all, you have to gauge when to let someone go and when to overtalk them if they've been doing that to you throughout the conversation. However, you should not be battling to speak. If it happens more than like 2-3 times, I would address it. "I don't mean to be rude, and I don't know if you're doing it on purpose, but you keep cutting me off" is what I would probably say.

How u deal w people talking at the same time as you, whether 1 on 1 or in group discussion. You always mention to be someone that commands attention, but i don’t want to shout to get my point across so i usually just let them go first.
