W.I.P #132 (Animated) - Maliketh
🕑 Added 2025-06-12 18:32:41 +0000 UTCwell i'll be damned, i'm actually making good progress on this and it's only been a few days. here's where i'm at with it currently. still needs a bit of work (mainly towards the end since the climax is lacking some much needed "oomph") - but it's looking pretty nice! physics were a pain in the ass to get working, but have ended up suprisingly clean, so that's always a relief. might make some slight adjustments to the camera angle to better capture everything, but otherwise it's mostly just polish that needs to be done still. the scene's also pretty well set up for a POV angle, so chances are i'll try doing that as well as a bonus for you guys >:]
addtionally, (although i can't guarantee i'll 100% be able to do it) - i may add in a second (shorter) pose to follow up the climax at the end for the hell of it (it just depends on how feasibly i can transition into it - since it wouldn't be a simple instant switch to another pose with the way i have it set up). either way, here's a look at what i've got in mind - just a rough concept at the moment:
at the moment, i'll focus on finishing what i've got at the moment before i attempt animating that as well, though if i am able to pull it off, i'll be sure to share it in the next WIP post!
ALSO (sorta) IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: for those of you who were looking to support me beyond the current options (since it's been asked about a few times), i'm gonna be adding a fourth support tier later today. benefit-wise, it's basically the same as scoundrel (aside from having higher voting power). again, it's mainly for the people who just wanna further support my work
regardless of what tier you may be though, your support is and always will be deeply appreciated and i wouldn't be able to do any of this if it weren't for all of you guys - so thank you, genuinely :]
anyways, i'll be getting back to work on this! should have another progress post (or potentially the full render) ready in a few days - so stay tuned for that. in the meantime, enjoy the preview and take care!
