W.I.P #125 - Titanium On Top (HQ release coming later today)
🕑 Added 2025-05-19 16:55:06 +0000 UTChey hey hey here i am again. just wanted to give you guys a quick update since it's been a little bit. the titanium animation is currently being rendered - so you can expect to see that later today (assuming all goes well, as always)
spent most of yesterday getting the mimi skit finished (it ended up being WAY more involved than i anticipated) and polishing up this animation (ended up having to do a lot of adjustments to the mouth since it'd clip into the dick when viewed from other angles). on the topic of angles; i decided to add a few different camera angles to switch between throughout the animation since it made things a bit more engaging and interesting. the lighting was sorta difficult to figure out (mostly due to the layout of the scene and the changing camera angles) - but overall i think it turned out looking pretty nice!
additionally, i do think i've actually found out something that HUGELY helps with a recurring physics problem i had (jittering simulations, most often when colliding with other objects) so that's epic as hell and should make future physics work a lot less annoying to do
for anyone who works with blender and is curious as to what i found out, here's the gist of it (note: despite my 4600+ hours, i am by no means an expert with the software and this advice might not apply to everyone or even be correct so take it with a grain of salt):
- disabling volume preservation in the modifiers for the cage IMMENSELY reduces the jittering
- subdividing the cage via edit mode rather than through a modifier seems to improve the overall quality of the physics (this one i could be totally wrong about)
and LASTLY, i should also be recieiving the VA work for the mimi animation pretty soon, so i can get the sound done for that as well when i have some time to spare.
anyways, since i've already typed way too much, i'll wrap this up. to sum it up, the titanium animation's done and should be ready to share later today - so i'll be seeing you then :] thanks as always for the support and patience!

it was planned, though things unfortunately didn't line up. i may ask shiba if she'd be available to work on it in the future! (since right now she's already got a metric crapton of stuff on her plate)

Speaking of the va, will the JoJo anim get va?

Holy shit, i absolutely love the lighting (especially the first pic). Alt angle was def necessary to witness Titanium cake
