W.I.P #68 (Animated) - Cerberus
🕑 Added 2024-11-02 23:51:31 +0000 UTChowdy. took me a little extra time to get this ready since I was having some trouble pacing the animation right - but so far I'm pretty pleased with it! i've got the second half to do still, though it's nothing I haven't done before, so I shouldn't have any trouble doing that.
i did end up opting to do a different pose for the second part because i wanted to get some practice with transitions between poses rather than just cutting to a different one. thankfully, i expect the newer pose will be far easier to animate as well since the original was kind of messy. physics shouldn't be difficult to set up either, so that's all well and good
I also decided against animating the snake tail mainly due to how cumbersome of a process that turned out to be (because of how I have things set up and because, truthfully, I just don't know how to go about it in a way that looks natural or good). i may end up animating the snake tail in the final version, but at the moment, i'd like to just focus on getting the actual action animated and maybe do that if i've got time afterwards. might also go back to this part and add a little bit more hip rotation if that process doesn't turn out to be too much of a headache.
but yeah aside from that, that's about all i've got at the moment. I'll try to get back to you guys sometime tomorrow or the next day with another animated WIP for the second half - till then take care and thanks for the support as always :]
