W.I.P #107 (Animated) - Arlo & Coffeesoda
🕑 Added 2025-03-17 00:30:53 +0000 UTChey party people, sorry it took me a little longer to get this out to you. last few days have been exceptionally busy with the sybil skit and some other stuff i've been helping out on taking up most of my time. i've also just been a little physically fatigued overall for whatever reason - so that never makes things easier. but either way, i'm still doing alright now and keeping the pedal to the metal so it's all good :]
anyways, here's a preview of the next animation which involves two characters who i'd been asked to animate a while back (back in september if i remember correctly). been a hot minute since i did any m/m or anthro/anthro content, so this was a pretty good chance to knock out two birds with one stone. it's actually pretty far along progress-wise since i've been working on it alongside my other last few animations - so i should be finishing it up relatively soon.
currently, what I've got left to do is the usual stuff that still needs doing in these WIPs - blinking, some facial animations, the climax, and the looping. a good chunk of said climax is already keyed out - though still needs a bit of adjustment, so i cut that chunk out of the preview for now (it's likely gonna be a more involved climax this time around, since as with most of my projects i like to try something i haven't done - so that's gonna be the self-imposed challenge of this one). one plus of this animation is that i don't have to do much fiddling around with physics, which is always a benefit in my books - so most of my attention can be focused on everything else.
that's about all I've got to say for now - as for the next post on here, i reckon it'll be the HQ release of this, which (if my estimates are anything to go by) should be ready in the next 2-3 days depending on how much trouble fluid sim and all that other fun stuff gives me (i am using flip fluids now as opposed to blender's default sim, so hopefully that won't cause too many issues. if it does, i'll just use the default sim and figure out flip fluids in my free time). i'll also be trying to get started on the audio of the sybil animation (though that's gonna be an "on the side" thing, since i do want to keep up my momentum with animating as usual).
i'll see you guys again soon - enjoy the preview and thank you very much for the continued support! :]
