W.I.P #90 (Animated) - Exceptionally Anomalous Activity
🕑 Added 2025-01-21 16:56:00 +0000 UTChere's the second WIP for this animation! with this, i reckon it's about ready to get rendered. all I've got left on the docket is redoing the lighting, maybe some slight tweaks to the animation - both of which shouldn't take long as all. what will take long, however, is reading through this YAPPING (sorry this is just how i am - main points are underlined)
the cum's appearance may look questionable, for lack of a better term - but rest assured the material looks far less weird in the actual rendered images (way less reflective and such - that's just a side effect of it being rendered in the viewport). as for the fluid sim - it's a lot of variables that im not too clear on (as fluid dynamics is not something i've really worked with before), so it could use some adjusting. depending on how easily i can do that, i may finetune it a bit more.
i also did have to remove the animated wetness specifically on mal0's dong because it was causing some inexplicable rendering error that i was unable to wrap my head around. removing that effect (only on them) seemed to fix it. i'm fairly certain it was due to something i did way earlier in the project that i wouldn't be able to undo without a significant amount of time (and even then it wouldn't be a guaranteed fix). thankfully, this wasn't a super noticeable detail in test renders, so its removal isn't a big deal
on the bright side, this has been a very helpful learning experience on getting these sorts of effects working (and what NOT to do in the process of getting them set up) - so i should be able to have these sorta things present in future work (assuming they don't cause the same issue). rome wasn't built in a day and neither will my expertise of said tools be - but i feel like this is a good start
i'm gonna get to work on the lighting so i can get this rendered by tomorrow. gonna be getting VA done for this as well, so bear with me if the initial release doesn't have sound for a bit - i'll try to keep you guys in the loop as always.
anyways, i'll see you guys again tomorrow with the HQ release :] thanks for the support and take care!

i forget exactly what simulation addon it is (since i ended up downloading like 7 different ones when searching for one that'd play nicely with my animation style), though i believe it's vanilla for the most part. i was tempted to try flip fluids out, though thankfully this seemed to work out pretty well! and thank you! :]

That fluid sim is looking great man! I know it's a pain waiting for it to bake lol. Are ya using vanilla sim or Flip Fluids? Also this is coming along very very nicely! And hope you got a good nap! ^^

For an animation that was meant to be shorter this is still decently long
