W.I.P #86 (Animated) - Shiraume
🕑 Added 2025-01-11 01:21:24 +0000 UTChow's it hanging, here's the latest wip for your viewing pleasure :] right now i think if i were to say how far along in this i am, 40-50% would be a good estimate
took a little bit of fiddling to get the breast physics working - though more so on the side of collision this time (they collide fine with the arms and body, but get pretty finicky when a dong is added to the equation - hence the clipping. truthfully i am pretty unsure how to go about fixing that since i've already tried numerous methods - but i'm sure i can figure something out). regardless, it's looking far better than it was when i started, so that's a dub
the transition into the oral segment might get some tweaking since there's a lot of moving parts that don't necessarily play nice with sudden changes to the pose, so don't mind the slight physics jank at the end
i should be able to get the next wip prepared in the next day or two, so keep your eyes open for that :]
and also, regarding the sound for the last animation, it's still a work in progress (given the length, it could take a little longer - though i wouldn't imagine significantly longer). on the bright side, I've been able to get a good enough chunk of the joke version done in the meantime
EDIT: nevermind i figured out what i was doing wrong with the physics, all is well

Omg that's fantastic! Very happy to hear roro got you set up from the start! Such a massive time saver! It's the best physics addon I've seen, full stop. And honestly considering how complex physics is, you're doing swell! I learned it the hard way first (manually lol) to understand the fundamentals, and only recently started learning Simplicage myself! Which is why I got so excited and yapped a whole bunch about it earlier, so apologies for that! ^^; And wanted to say thx! You're literally battle testing Shiraume on the field, so please feel free to lmk if you have feedback or suggestions for her model! I made her rig before I knew about Simplicage, so there could be some things to finetune and make easier for physics.

all good :] it's nice to have the option, so that's much appreciated and man i'd be DEAD without simplicage. roro introduced it to me a while back when i was starting out in blender - though i only really began to feel confident in knowing how to use it in the last couple of months

Hot damn! ^^ Coming along swimmingly! Glad to hear you figured out the collisions for mr rod heehee. Physics be finicky sometimes! I know she's got a lot of floofy bits, so I hope it doesn't cause you too many issues! I left her ears, tail, floof, and auxiliary bones plain, without constraints, in case animators wanted to use something like Bone Dynamics to make fake physics. Also not sure if you manually set up your physics cages or use an addon? I know doing it manually is time consuming and a pain lol. There's an addon called Simplicage that automatically generates the physics and collision cages from the mesh and pins them for you. Saves hours of time vs. manual. And it comes with physics settings presets, so you don't have to start from scratch each time. And get this, it has a button to refresh ALL the physics caches with a single click, which is such a QoL feature when previewing the animation!
