Unleashed: Conceptual overhaul
🕑 Added 2025-04-14 17:19:51 +0000 UTCAfter re-playing the first version of Unleashed thats almost 2 years old now, I was able to clearly reflect the progression of it. Unleashed's initial 1.0 release was merely a cool idea and a little UI. It has come such a long way and grew so large - yet the essence of it somehow lost the spotlight.
What do I mean by essence?
Interactivity and the first-person play. The feeling of being inside the Scene and effortlessly manipulating it to what I want it to be. Creating your own memorable moment with your virtual Waifu.
Whats the issue?
I've spend time working on honing weaknessess instead of fueling the strength's. For example, forcing voiced story intro's into maps that are supposed to be about your ideas and your approach - not mine. Instead, I should have pushed environments into a state that enables you to create your own story.
This time could have went into more and better Girl interactions. An improved player PoV. Better visuals. More customization. More player comfort. Smoother gameplay. Better performance. It will now.
Where do we go from here?
We go down the path that doesnt waste potential. First, let me begin by saying sorry to those who supported me for such a long time. Collectively youre kind of my boss and I started to lose sight for the project you've entrusted me with.
Maps will improve drastically and grow to be enabling for you, instead of presenting you a low-mid tier narrative. Voicelines wont be pushed into everything - they will assume a role of occasional audio-feedback. Action & Interaction will drastically improve. The remaster list is long, but the wait wont be. The first update that shifts direction is rolling out in the next couple of days and will focus on expanding Map positions and playcomfort!
