Unleashed - Road to 2.0
🕑 Added 2024-01-24 17:54:33 +0000 UTC2.0 Aims to be the definitive version of what Unleashed was meant to be when it started in May 23. Your go-to VR resource in which you just load your favourite look and have fun with it in lots of places, with lots of variety and lots of interactivity!
Your amazing support since its release reflects your interest in its progression and im so incredibly thankful for it! I never would have imagined to push this raw idea of a free VR play into what Unleashed is now - yet im sitting here with the feeling that 2.0 is just another beginning for it! Enough with my cringe thankful talk, you guys and girls know i love y'all, heres what 2.0 will be:
- Performance optimized: building features for Unleashed bloated the package over time and hindered loading times as well as performance. Nows the time for cutting the edges, removing what isnt entirely necessary and squeeze out every FPS i can get. Im already on it and the new 1.80.1 package i just released brought you a good chunk of extra FPS, not calling it a day yet though!
- extremely Interactive: Interacting with your hands and the overall immersion is the heart of VR-Fun in my opinion, ill be working with some more complex plugins to create complex setups for immersion. The plan is to have a female which naturally responds to you, the player, when interacting with her. Tons of additional voicelines will be randomly playing on touch of certain body parts, for example when playing with her breasts or her other fun-parts. Id also like some more SFW interactions like tickling or handholding, but im unsure how it fits in and proper NSFW interaction will have priority.
- full of Stories: 2.0 will have 5 finished Stories with 20 Voicedpositions per Story. Theres currently a Poll ongoing in which you can vote for your favourite type of story progression, please vote to take part in shaping Unleashed into what you want it to be!
- full of Variety: Basic Voicedposes and bangready poses are going to get major reworks - quality and quantity will dramatically increase.
- looking good: Ive had troubles with the UI setup until mid november 23 - The UI literally exploded on my screen frequently, which required me to practically re-build the UI for every update i made. Ive since won the war against my UI though and 2.0 is going to have ordered, symmetric and aligned UIs for every little part of it. The tutorial, the Pose&Control UI aswell as the Freeplay maps and any other UI Unleashed might get in the future!
- easily understandable and a breeze to get into: Unleashed outgrew most other scenes in terms of UI functionality, size and features rather quickly. It lacked a tutorial and ive often gotten the feedback that people dont know where to start. While 1.8 already brought you a new Lobby and tutorial area which tackles that issue, im still working with some VaM newcomers to further improve upon it. There will also be extensive tutorials on how to use each base function, how to load appearance presets and how to import environments as textguides. This will be finished when someone entirely new to VaM has to spend no more then half an hour learning to have fun with Unleashed and all of its functions.
- suited for recieving play (?): This one is the only feature i cant promise to get done. I'd like to have a modular "female" pov option which enables an easy to use recieving PoV where male on male and female on female just works. Ive tryharded to get it done and ive made some awesome progress, but some integral parts for it are still missing - the Bangready pose feature might be the key to finally get it right but it still needs some more attention. Lets hope it works out!
