My least favourite part of reality warping stories tends to always be when the protagonist makes themself seem crazy to a world that doesn’t understand or see what he sees, but I trust where this is headed with that opossum cliffhanger.

I like both of those theories! Sleep makes the most sense to me, but I raise the question. Would it be just the university experiencing the changes? If it’s not just the university, then wouldn’t the changes have happened sooner? My personal theory is kinda a cop-out, but I think it’s all a dream. Especially after the whole mirror incident

I'm guessing the possum isn't immune, I wonder if he's cloak for the mystery factor or he's uncomfortable with the changes to his body and quieten will show him that despite how wierd everything is the changes arnt bad and the possum should enjoy his new hot assets

So either this is some hivemind levels of subtle horror, or the changes were announced and put into effect a week ago but only goes into effect once a student sleeps. The difference being this possum also came in yesterday, but has also been pulling all nighters...
