Opening Bluesky on my Phone
🕑 Added 2024-12-05 23:32:58 +0000 UTCThis is just a silly idea I had that I wanted to do. x) Bluesky is great, but the start up screen on my phone is ridiculously bright blue.
Eventually I'm going to post this to Bsky, but I kind of want to do another version that starts out in a lit room and then shifts dark when the phone lights up. And also want to polish the animation and bit and fix a few small things. But I'm not going to have time to work on it again until next week so I thought I'd post this draft here in the meantime.

BlueSky is blue equivalent to Vantablack

Haha oh yeah? Figures I wouldn't be the first one to comment on it. (Actually I got this idea months ago, just only now got around to doing it, haha.) I wouldn't mind reading the original comic if you can find it.

That's actually a pretty good idea! I don't think I'll do it, because I kinda spent long enough on this already for the simple joke it is. x) But I might attach that info like in a reply to the post.

oooo, end it with a tutorial for folks to find the setting! A funny and a PSA in one!

Haha, I do remember this being an issue - someone had made a comic about this.

The same thing happens when you DM me too ;>

And here I thought I was just blinding you with my bloo-ness!
Pulsar
Noooo! That ruins the joke! (But actually that's really good to know, thanks! I'll probably change it then, haha)

I hate to be that guy but if you go to Settings -> Appearance -> "Dark Theme" to "Dim" -- it'll fix everything. Even the startup butterfly animation is now a black butterfly on a starry night sky. Not as funny though. XD
Pulsar
Looool xD I really should make that as an alternate version. Or a gusher of cum erupting out of the screen.

With how much porn I see on there (because I absolutely want to see porn, don't get me wrong) I was expecting a hyper cock to flop out after the shades were on!
Amethystine
Very fun! - At some point, you'll learn to be a cool guy and apply the shades FIRST, then turn it on

Demon core vibes 😎
