Thank you all for August, I know it was a little quieter than normal but I appreciate all the kind words, comments and likes everyone shares with all the posts I made, it's always so much fun to see what you will end up saying about the art I share!
This month it was also nice to do some art based on your suggestions from the art suggestion post, I'm sorry I wasn't able to do all suggestions, but I hope that the ones I did do were fun to see :)
The patreon merch is currently on pause until I can get clearer details about the USA tariff situation, so far I've heard that packages sent as 'gifts' will not be slapped with the tariffs, but I want to wait until more details have emerged before I move forward with designing the merch (since some merch was also to be for my etsy as well).
Now, from below on is going to be some serious talk so if you aren't interested in reading further the jist of it is that I am going to be taking a small break for possibly 1-2 weeks from patreon with the goal of recharging and repairing my mental health towards my art. There may be no art during that time shared to patreon. More details below.
To go into further detail, I've been artblock/burnt out/having mental breakdown over my own art for all of August (although this started somewhere in mid July), this combination plus all the other problems like USA tariff situation, person leaking my patreon exclusive art to the Kemono site is back at it again again and personal life circumstances (mental & physical heath), all added pressure on me. Me being me tried to keep going, to keep my posting schedule here on patreon but all of it just has become too much.
It took multiple mental breakdowns on my shower floor to realize I've been pushing and pressuring myself so much for so long I've damaged my mental health and my relationship with my art and I need to take a step back to recover it before I get to a stage where I can't draw at all.
I really appreciate you all for your kind words, and I do read them all and I am very thankful for you all enjoying my art so much! I don't discredit that, but I also need to be enjoying my art too, so that is why I will be having a small break. I am so sorry for disappointing anyone and I thank you for all the support you all give me π
Let's all head into September and start enjoying spooky month early :P

I wish I could take a longer break, but that'll have to wait until December and I'll pause billing for that whole month. The break has been interesting, I didn't realize how badly my life got wrapped up into just Art/socials/Patreon and how unhealthy that is. Still going to have to work on finding it okay to slow down and that resting is not meant as a reward for 'working hard'. But yeah, the artwork idea was a cute one!

Thank you Aussie, I try to treat my 'work' on this patreon the same way a normal full-time job would be here where we get 4 weeks of holiday leave which I take all in one go in December and I pause patreon billing. But it seems my mental and physical health had other plans this year :< Hoping to come back with some energy and a clearer path forward with my art β€οΈ Thank you for all the support and kindness you've shown me π
