A "little something" I've been working on...
🕑 Added 2023-02-02 21:30:47 +0000 UTCThe intent is to present my vision of a good UI for location awareness in an open world, taking as reference several games (mainly Assassin's Creed and Breath of the Wild). First step, a minimap.
I liked a lot the concept of the Skyrim MiniMap by Mardoxx (SkyUI team), but sadly it was never finished/released (9 years ago).
There is also Felisky's minimap, but is closed-source and not updated to the latest version of the game. As you know, my philosophy is releasing the source code once finished, for others to learn and improve this community. Without github repos, many of the latest mods we all like probably wouldn't exist.
Here you have a video of a POC version I'm working on.

That's the idea! I'm going back to work on this once I have a beta of the 2 plugins I'm finishing right now + AMR update. Lots of work, hopefully you all like them!

Really cool! Looks alot cleaner than Felisky's. Though it would be cool if it was able to rotate with the player :O

Ooh it looks just like Morrowind's UI! After a recent MW playthough I have been missing my full screen pinnable local map! Very cool mod, will probably finally get me to switch off Felisky's! Good luck friend!
