What happens in Whiterun Stays... not? in Whiterun!

I've just found a way to show map markers inside cities even from the outside world! I've always wondered why you can see this markers in the map menu, but not in the compass... well here you go!
In the pic you can see Dragonsreach from outside Whiterun, and I can tell you that I don't have Open Cities installed :P
I find it cool but what do you think? Would you want it in the mod?

Super cool to be able to see first hand, the process of an already outstanding mod continue to evolve and come more even more into its own.

I think it'd help for other locations, since most people know where DR is in relation to the gate.

I think that it would be better if only the main marker of the city is shown, which is close to the entrance.

Hmm maybe if you have Atlas Map Markers installed, yeah. I may limit it to the main marker of each city.

Will it clutter the view if there are multiple markers within close proximity?

It’s very cool in theory and the fact that it works is fuckin sweet but seems like it would add unnecessary confusion for those not deeply familiar with Skyrim’s layout (e.g. “oh I just have to walk this way to get to the blue palace… but that’s impossible) and for those who ARE familiar with every cities layout, the markers have very little use
