Apple Mafia!? F&§%!
🕑 Added 2024-11-09 10:48:47 +0000 UTCWTF. I got a notification that Apple is now charging 30% extra for Patreon-User using the IOS-Patreon-App?
Thought Patreon had to change "when-payment-is-due" only, but Apple charging extra, and THAT MUCH is insanity! I know why I don't use Apple Products... Not only are their prices lunatic, but it seems their policies are mafia like as well...
I am not interily sure how to avoid it, but I guess when you use Patreon via browser, you will pay the normal price for creators, without paying 30% extra to Apple?
I am so enraged this is happening and I am very sorry this is even a thing we have to be concerned with. So if you can, use Patreon not via IOS-Mafia.
Just wanna warn you real quick, if you haven't heard.

I do have one but it's not going well and the payment system is a lil annoying... Thx for the suggestion though.

i think its just an up charge for people who subscribe via the ios app. You can subscribe on the web and still browse your subscriptions on the ios app without incurring an extra charge.
