I was not particularly active on the old Discord, but am inclined to take DNE's word for this one. At the least, I think a server that you actually own is the right idea, as is combining it with WTYP. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help!

to clarify for certain people who keep trying to make this a thing, the antisemitism thing is bullshit. a moderator was accused of working with someone who folks said was an antisemite. that person in question has recanted the tweets in question which indicated antisemitism, and the tweets in question were a few things they said years ago as a dumb teenager that no one fucking saw, except some folks who dug through their tweet history for the sake of stirring up trouble for the moderator. anyway as a result of this guilt from association, said moderator was harassed off the damn discord which is why I think we oughta start fresh

There was a small clique of moderators who harassed the server owner (who was not DNE) over buying custom Cities: Skyline assets from an anti-semite so much that he gave the server to that clique. Now people who had conflicts with that clique in the past are leaving one by one and every time a new one does the server turns into a 2-minute hate about why that person was Bad, Actually.

@Connie - Yeah, I mean, obviously that's a serious problem and I'm not into that at all. I'm just saying that this weird bullshit going on lately, with Discords and subreddits and such being 'taken over' by tedious State-Commies is tiresome.

I can see that the Discord is some whole fucking drama, and frankly I don't care about it. I barely contributed at all and joined because I thought it'd be about you and this video series. I'm not at all here for some kind of weird hostile-takeover leftist-firing-circle bullshit. (Note: I'm a leftist. I'm just tired of the infighting.) If there's to be a new Discord, I'll lurk in that one and dump the one that exists. Sorry it went sideways on you, and it's fucked up that people staged some kind of boring-ass coup on it.
