Nope. Never going to happen. This series is a harem-free zone.

I'm not opposed to them, but you shouldn't expect much. These chapters are pure first drafts that get posted literal minutes after I finish writing them. They'll get a pass from me later to clean up the things I find. Then, when its publishing time, they'll go through a copyeditor. Then, they'll go through a proofreader. So, there's three layers of editing that happen between what you read here day to day and what's ultimately going to end up getting published.

If he ends up with a harem including Misty Peak the fights between the wives will be epic and hilarious.

Don't know how interested @Eric Dontigney is in typos and such but spotted the following, so though I'd highlight them: "each of the half dozen chest" -> chests "do with qi than in hording it toward future advancement." -> hoarding; also consider a comma after 'qi' maybe? Up to you. "Sen didn't response immediately." -> respond I've not been in the habit of posting typos and such for this particular story, even though I do spot them. I've actively received hate messages when doing something similar on other Patreon stories I support. Hopefully this is taken as intended.

I think a lot of people conflate compassion and weakness. Khu or Sen for that matter could hand out whoopins left and right but can also choose not to.

Every philosophy has limits. And I probably missed a whole lot of nuance because I'm not really an expert on Buddhism or their philosophy of compassion, which is why I've alluded to the monk being Buddhist, but never came right out and called him one. I really don't want to step all over people's religions out of pure ignorance. It's the same reason I have a stack of books about Taoism that I'm reading instead of just writing about it all willy-nilly in these books.

This is a Cultivation world and novel so the words of Khu ring kinda because we assume Karma is real and so his philosophy is benevolent. However, it kinda assumes that horrible people who "deserve" death have never seen, been witness or received compassion ever. But what if they already have? Should they get even more compassion? What if they already decided that compassion is for the weak and they don't care for it? His philosophy kinda has limits.
