Nothing outlandish so far, so any feedback is nice.

Probably in the minority but I REALLY like the more rotten/potentially even gross side of this for undead feet like even bones

Zombies are not a bad idea in my opinion, though I respect the general consensus and authorial direction first and foremost. What kind of paranormal and supernatural creatures do you have in mind, because I think less than conventional monsters (obviously not too strange or grotesque) and their respective scenarios could lend to some very unique and embarrassing endings.
