🕑 Added 2025-06-29 09:11:23 +0000 UTCIt'll be 37 degrees here next week, so I've made a suitable map.
Stage a chase through an icy desert. It will eventually end here at the ocean, where there's no escape. Suddenly, cracks appear in the ice everywhere, and the entire mass breaks away from the ice sheet. You have to imagine that the ice floes then drift further and further out to sea, melting in the process.
Gameplay Ideas
- Enemies in the water become increasingly powerful the longer the battle goes. Watch videos of orcas chasing seals on ice floes. Just do this with your heroes.
- The smaller the ice floe, the more difficult it is to prevent it from turning and throwing a hero off.
- If the ice is completely gone and perhaps all the enemies are dead, your heroes will still be drifted very far out to sea. They'll have a hard time saving themselves, so let them feel it. Just kill them here (or rescue them with a fishing boat).
Have fun and some dread with the map!

I chose the title to capture the feeling I have about our climate situation. Before one has even seen all phases, I want to let everybody know that there won't be any ice left on the map. Since the mid-80s at the latest, every educated person should have known what the future will look like. Our present and future are in no way to be seen as a surprise, and that somehow makes it all the worse...
