What drew me to the story in the first place was Emma and Andrew’s (Mia) relationship. It made things feel different/unique. With them growing apart now, I fear that this will become a sad NTR/Cuck type story. I can only hope Emma can stay a part of this in a good way, and not lost to obscurity.

It seems that me replying to the op has dragged them into this discussion so for that I apologize to them lol. However to suggest that playing cards at a level where you consiconsistently win money to live off of (which i was wrong in my assumption in his case and I said as much) dosnt require an above avg amount of intelligence and the ability to read people is wild. Sure there will always be a luck aspect but if luck aspect but playing these games against other people will always take certain set of skills to be successful.

First of all, this is my opinion. You have the right to disagree with it, just as I have the right to express it. But that's fine, I can also stop doing it. However, as a reader of this story, I can have my own predictions or thoughts. Secondly. I can see that quite a discussion has broken out here. I will point out, however, that in my post I did not refer anywhere to his behavior as a gambler. I focused mainly on his/her general attitude as a whole. So, as I wrote at the end of the original comment: I will now wait quietly until the end of this story. Regards.

He wasnt good at gambling and lost all the money, but even ignoring that saying you need to be smart to gamble is kind of a funny suggestion. The very concept of gambling can't exist without the concept of luck and chance.

He was not a professional gambler. He was playing as an amateur, got lucky and then compulsive. He didn't win on skill, he won on luck and instead of walking away he lost it all trying to get more. The story is one of corruption and feminization. It's not likely to turn out well for "Andrew".

Yeah I don't really get it either. Another thing that perplexed me about Mia/Andrew is he was apparently a gambler in the beginning and that takes a certain level of intelligence and ability to read people. He has shown absolutely zero of that almost this entire story. How in the heck did he make any kind of living as a card player prior to losing it all.

I finally read the whole chapter and I have mixed feelings about it. Previously, Mia (Andrew) still maintained some semblance of adulthood. Unless you wanted to show us that this adult approach to life was always lacking in old Andrew, which resulted in what we saw in Mia's example. The addition of gifs was a very good trick, it came out great. But the later dialogue with Clara, well that... I regret the even wider and deeper rift between Emma and Mia. I only hope that they end up together. It would be good if Emma finally started to realize that something is wrong, not only with Mia, but also in her environment. Including Clara and her family. I will be patient and wait until the end of the story. Apart from that, I wish you health.
