The coldest season of the year, "DAIKAN"(大寒), has arrived in Japan.☃
I would like to share with you an interesting topic about the cold weather in Japan.🗾
Japan is a country with a wide range of temperatures within the country, but overall it is a warm country.
However, most of the interiors in Japan are cold in winter, and it does not matter whether the building is new or old.
My house often gets cold, I think it often gets down to about 15 degrees Celsius. My area is relatively mild, so it would not be surprising if it were even colder elsewhere.
Of course, we use a lot of heaters, but it tends to be difficult to warm up.
By the way, according to the WHO, if the room temperature falls below 18°C, the likelihood of health problems increases.
So it is very likely that the performance of many Japanese is severely impaired by the cold!😱
One reason for this is the very poor design of Japanese windows.
They are often made of thin and poorly insulated materials.
This is just my opinion, but I think that because Japan tends to be very hot and humid, people tend to focus only on ventilation and neglect the insulation effect.
By the way, Hokkaido is the warmest indoor region in Japan, and Kagawa is the coldest. It is said that Hokkaido is the coldest indoor climate in Japan, and Kagawa is the coldest.
People who do not know Japan think that Hokkaido is a southern country and Kagawa is a northern country, right?
In fact, Hokkaido is a northern country near Russia, and Kagawa is a region with a Mediterranean climate.
Unlike other regions, Hokkaido is extremely cold, and this inversion phenomenon occurs because of the care taken in insulation.
Because of this inversion, I often hear that residents of northern Japan are quite surprised at how cold it is in other parts of the country.
I have been to Hokkaido, and although it is very cold outside, I often stay indoors and feel very warm.
In Hokkaido, windows and front doors are often double-paned.
It was somewhat refreshing to have that feeling backed up by numbers.
However, the problem of cold Japanese houses seems to be difficult to solve. I guess the only way is to have them warmed by girls' breasts!🐮
