NSFW Sketches 2
🕑 Added 2024-03-18 02:04:59 +0000 UTCDeutsch: Meine liebsten Patrons! Vielleicht ...
Bitte entschuldigt die wall of text!
Eure MAUS!
English: My dearest patrons! Maybe ... XD .... you noticed the "funny" disclaimer in front of the current picture *lol*. Mastercard and Stripe have apparently put some pressure on Patreon, resulting in a new change to the TOS. And this one is quite something and will probably change a lot QuQ
In principle, this would not be a problem, because with the attached disclaimer I refer to the black & blue comic, in which it is more than clear that Consent is written EXTRA large. However, it is now also forbidden to draw pictures in which characters do ANYTHING that LOOKS like coercion, and that includes things like bondage. :,) So... essentially the whole BDSM subject matter. Even fictional characters now have to express consent!
I have to admit that I was EXTREMELY down when I learned about this. I worked so hard for so many years to get enough backers to be able to work on my comic unfettered by publishers or corporate contracts. Now that's in jeopardy. I'm really terrified that my account will be deleted without warning. While I don't really think the threat of that is very great, it does exist. T_T
But one thing is crystal clear: I can't possibly continue as before on this platform! With the current TOS, I can't draw my artwork the way I want to, nor can I tell b&b in a grown-up, mature way. Therefore, Kito and I discussed what we could do and decided that we want to outsource the NSFW work completely! What this means for you: You will be receiving your NSFW rewards another way in the near future! We're working on a solution that we think will be simple and elegant. :3 Our aim is to cause you as little inconvenience as possible and I hope that you will continue to support me, even if you have to take a small detour for the artwork. 🥲
Anyway, I'll keep you up to date! We will probably delete the "dangerous" images in question from Patreon in the coming weeks. So if you want to keep certain pictures during the time of the move, please save them or copy the link to the Dropbox folder. Of course, this will also be deleted along with the images.
Once we have set up the new solution, we will ask a small group of particularly loyal supporters to test and evaluate the system and as soon as we are sure that everything works well, we will present it to you! 💖
Despite the circumstances, I hope you will remain loyal to me TuT" Moving the NSFW images means first and foremost that I don't have to worry about deletion and losing my income, but also FULL, ABSOLUTE artistic freedom without any censorship or regulations. This will probably positively influence the nature of my images and perhaps the course of b&b as a whole.
Please excuse the wall of text! I felt really poorly yesterday and today. Had a downright anxiety attack, heart palpitations.... and so on. At first I thought I wouldn't be able to do the NSFW sketch, but then.... Derek and Gogo saved me and I was able to draw something and feel VERY good about it. To be honest, I'm totally surprised because ... I was feeling worse than I had for a long time. :,D That's how you realize that mental problems never go away completely. Just one critical situation and you're in that hole again.
But I am a bit proud of the sketch and the idea. V///V It made me feel a bit tingly while drawing. XD
I want to post a quick aftercare picture tomorrow, because I've kept you waiting so long and because I feel like it. 🩷 I don't want to promise that it will really be up tomorrow. Maybe the day after tomorrow, because I'm moving back to Kito again tomorrow. XD Then I will also have time to pack your physical rewards! They'll FINALLY be on their way to you after the Leipzig Book Fair!
I hope you like the picture. Let me know what you think about the current situation. 😭
I love you so much and you are so important to me. Also as a community!
Feel hugged!
Yours, MAUS!

Sehr tolles Bild.

Sorry to hear about the TOS situation. That’s really terrible of them. I hope all of your planning and work toward the solution go smoothly! I’ll continue to follow and support, even if there are a couple more steps to see your work. It’s so worth it! The story of b&b is fantastic, and I love how you accurately portray BDSM. I can’t wait to see what the extra creative freedom brings 🖤
