Wie gefällt euch das neue Patreon Logo? Ich fand erst, es sieht wie eine Niere aus, dann meinte mein Flatter Kami, dass es mehr einer LEBER ähnelt XDDD Und dann hab ich 'n gag-Bild gefunden, das es mit einer Prostata vergleicht!!!! ... seither mag ich's irgendwie. Lol.
Es ist einfach SO simpel und stumpf, dass es schon wieder geil ist! XD
Egal! Jetzt gibt's erst mal wieder 5 neue black & bue Seiten! Das Kapitel heißt ja "Familienbande" und es wird eigentlich erst jetzt - in Teil 2 - seinem Namen SO RICHTIG gerecht. Es geht basically darum zu zeigen, wie unterschiedlich Gogos und Derek's familiäre Umstände sind. Gogo's Familie ist chaotisch, aber sehr LOVING. Behütend. Fast schon ein bisschen zu sehr, manchmal. XD
Und Derek's Situation... ist das genaue Gegenteil! Klar, seine Mutter liebt ihn abgöttisch, aber sie ist gar nicht dazu in der Lage für ihn zu sorgen. Jetzt ist er erwachsen und braucht's nicht mehr so, aber es hat ihn enorm geprägt!
Außerdem wollte ich von Anfang an zeigen, dass man auch eine sehr liebevolle Familie haben kann.... und trotzdem eine psychische Erkrankung mit sich rumschleppen kann. Und dass man vielleicht gerade DESWEGEN das Gefühl hat, nicht darüber reden zu können. Weil: AndereFamilienmitglieder (in dem Fall Noah), scheinen mehr Aufmerksamkeit zu brauchen. Man wurde stets dazu erzogen, rücksichtsvoll und höflich zu sen. Und man will niemandem Sorgen bereiten!
So ging es mir jedenfalls immer. Meine Schwester war als Teenager sehr schwierig... und ich hatte das Gefühl, als Älteste meine Probleme allein lösen zu müssen. Um für meine Eltern nicht zu einer zusätzlichen Belastung zu werden. Außerdem.... wie schwierig ist das, seiner Mutter zu sagen: "Du, ich glaube, dein BRUDER hat mich als Kind missbraucht...? Ich weiß es aber nicht sicher, weil ... ich kann mich nur bruchstückhaft erinnern."
Ich hatte fürchterliche Angst, meine Familie damit kaputt zu machen. Die Harmonie zu zerstören.
Ich hatte keine Ahnung, dass meine Mum von dem Missbrauch WUSSTE, weil ich als Kind - im Gegensatz zu Gogo - was gesagt hab. Und meine Mutter dachte: Meine Kleine vergisst das hoffentlich, wenn wir nie wieder darübber sprechen :,) So war das früher.
Ich mache meiner Mutter keine Vorwürfe. Sie dachte wirklich, Vergessen ist die beste Lösung.
Haaah, so viel Seelenstriptease wieder! X,D Ihr seht, diese Story ist wirklich SEHR persönlich. Und es gibt so vieles, wa sich zum Thema mental health loswerden will. TuT
Da kommt noch so einiges auf euch zu in dieser Season!

How do you guys like the new Patreon logo? I first thought it looks like a kidney, then my flatter kami said it looks more like a LIVER XDDD And then I found 'n gag picture comparing it to a prostate!!!! ... I've kinda liked it ever since. Lol.
It's just SO simple and stupid - it's kinda awesome! XD
Anyway! Now there's 5 new black & bue pages!
This chapter is called "Family Ties" and it's only now, in part two, that it really lives up to its name. It's basically about showing how different Gogo's and Derek's family circumstances are. Gogo's family is chaotic, but very LOVING. Protective. Almost a little too much, sometimes. XD
And Derek's situation... Is the exact opposite! Sure, his mother loves him dearly, but she's not able to take care of him at all. Now he's grown up and doesn't need it that much anymore, but it has shaped him as a person enormously!
I also wanted to show from the beginning that you can have a very loving family.... and still carry a mental illness around with you. And that perhaps it is because of that loving family that one has the feeling of not being able to talk about mental problems. Because: other family members (in the case of Noah), seem to need more attention. You have always been raised to be considerate and polite. And you don't want to worry anyone!
That's how I've always felt, anyway. My sister was very difficult as a teenager... and I felt like I had to solve my problems alone as the oldest. In order not to become an additional burden for my parents. Also.... how difficult is that, to tell your mother, "You, I think your BROTHER abused me as a child...? I don't know for sure, though, because .... I can only remember in bits and pieces."
I was terribly afraid of breaking my family with this. To destroy the harmony.
I had no idea that my mom KNEW about the abuse, because as a child - unlike Gogo - I said something. And my mother thought: My little one will hopefully forget about it if we never talk about it again :,) That's how it used to be.
I don't blame my mother. She really thought forgetting is the best solution.
Haaah, so much soul striptease again! X,D You see, this story is really VERY personal. And there is so much wa wants to get rid of on the topic of mental health. TuT

I’m so sorry for you, Sjmme! That sounds just horrible. ☹️ Human relationships are so complicated and hard to understand sometimes. I was in a relationship with a narcissist for a pretty long time and I wasn’t able to leave despite being unhappy and slowly taking damage. I wonder why we tend to forget how happiness feels like when we’re with toxic people. I guess, sometimes we’re gaslighting ourselves into thinking it’s not that bad and that the person will change if we just invest enough time and love. 😅 but very often all of this is completely futile.

My mom is the aunt, running away with me and my younger sibs over and over from my abusive dad... Ironically named David o.o We went back so many times. I never understood back then of course, why she would ever go back when she knew it would be the same. It's so complicated. Thank you for showing the hard and confusing parts of family too.
