Waaah, thank you for this long, looong comment, Andie. TuT it’s really reassuring, because as I mentioned in my reply to Dandy: I really struggled with this scene and I still think it could’ve been better. X,,D in February I cought covid and after that I struggled with severe brain fog, normally, paneling comes to me naturally. I just switch on my inner cinema and draw whatever I see. But suddenly thinking was so much harder and I needed AGES to plan just 8 pages. 😖 it was a scary experience. And because I know how hard it was to squeeze out this dialog, I’m looking at it extra critically.

Wow I reread this update a few times! I think you conveyed the summary well and reminded us how reckless Gogo is with his life. His attitude about it is also so unexpected. Like oh yeah huh I did that? Right? Guess I should take better care of myself, as he’s smiling. To me it was such a big metaphor on how sometimes we think so little of ourselves and put ourselves down yet are so nonchalant about it. Aware of our own self destruction but at the same time not taking it seriously enough. I also loved the way you drew Derek looking devious/sexy/mischievous one moment and then he’s like a concerned scolding boyfriend the next. I almost felt like he was going into dom space for a sec but then realized how pissed he was for the little value Gogo puts on his life. And I think you can def see the work you put on the last page. It conveys a lot of emotion! I almost forgot about how up and down Gogo was. From depressed on train tracks to getting excited for life again in underground fighting rings. I think the summary was def needed. Excited for things to get spicy too! Oh man I just know their first canon sexy encounter will be good! 🙈 I just want Gogo to be well taken care of. It seems like Derek already cares about him a lot. That boy deserves love. Especially self love ❤️ Thank you for your story and art.
