Just a simple question: which goggles for a beginner?

So I am only able to move with the left thumbstick on the oculus Rift which makes the experience unpleasant, also when I go to the circle I hear a noise, something is coming at me, then disapears and nothing happens next. Am I missing something? Thanks!

Its already set as active idk imma tweak some settings and keep trying it out maybe i can somehow figure it out whats causing it

Open your Oculus software. Navigate to Settings -> General. Click the 'Set Oculus as active' button to choose Oculus as your active OpenXR runtime. Depending on your Oculus software version this option can be under 'General'.

Yeah, known issue, but iffy to change. What happens is when collision is detected, rig will be moved to the previous position. If too deep, also the previous position collides. Detaching is just matter of holding down direction off the wall.

So you mean I'll be an alpha "alpha" tester? :D All jokes aside, since I can't test it again, I can only tell you about one bug that happened to me when I tested it. If I walked straight into a wall or a door and I turned around, I couldn't move anymore probably due to collision trouble. I think I had this trouble in other alphas too. I had to press up and down to move the camera so it would let me move again. Otherwise it was ok, everything worked way better than previous alphas. Eagerly waiting for the next alpha!

I had the same problem. When I tried to skip the churnin scene, I got a black screen and none of the buttons worked. But when I watched the entire churnin scene without skipping it, it went to the next scene smoothly.

Tested myself with Quest3 when creating. Have you set Oculus as primary VR in Meta app?

I played it on my Quest 3 using Air link i dont know if thats the cause of it

In the middle of the backrooms there is a switch on the floor. Skull/Pigeon. Selecting the pigeon disables all scares. The "ring girl" was just created before the release, and she hasn't been setup yet.

When transitioning to a new scene, the screen goes black. After 5 attempts, I managed to reach the scene called "boobed."

Everytime i finish the churnin part i get a black screen i cant go to the next scene boobed i tried it 3 more times always ended with a black screen

Keyboard E and C changes your height if I remember correctly. The final game you set this in main menu.

I was curious to ask about something you mentioned a while back. You had mentioned a succubus in the backrooms area. Was that idea scrapped or are you saving it for the final release?

A few notes: - Basement window with red-eyes woman: Her pony-tail regularly shifts and goes through her head/face. - Churn: Her heels and his upper arm overlap several times. - Nurse finds you: Her arms go through the metal structure. - Milking intro: Passing through the chair is a little odd. - Milking: There was a part where she blinked, and her eyes were grey for a few seconds until the pupils appeared - Milking: Swallow noises happen a few seconds before she drinks. - On replay, if I press two triggers, it gradually goes black, voice keeps going and an hourglass appears. I need to kill the app.

The pictures in the very beginning during the sequence when walking around before walking through a door where you're being haunted. There are some pictures hanging, I've seen similar pics here on the patreon page and was just wondering if whomever is responsible I guess wouldn't mind posting them here.

Yeah my bad on the terminology I realised it was the same model hence considering the possibility of being able to swap it back to the old one. I realise it's mostly the hair that changes the aesthetic. I was looking forward to seeing her in an almost-finished form! Oh well. Sorry if you researched it and I'm there like "change it back!" XD don't want to be "that design client" haha. Oooh great looking forward to it!!

Ah, forgot her, just added her without a triggers. So she is just hunting you I believe, forever at this point. There are actually way more cool stuff with the backrooms, when paintings are looking towards you, and some of the painting have some stuff coming out... you know, The Ring...

For the Boobed, I actually did lots of research of the female look at that time. The model is the same, hair is different and so is the makeup, rest, as it was. Comment noted! The next alpha is 1952 Asylum, after that the Finale.

Right controller, joy up and down. That's gonna be your master control when at the main menu. Now the main menu is not there, so you have to do it per release.

Actually not. The polygon count is identical, but when you expand something beyond limits, that's the result. The Churning was meant to be insane physically.

Great set up and arrangement of the asylum My only issue was the incredibly slow crawl to the mistress prior the the churn- I’m on PC and it seemed to take 5plus minutes to finally make it the the mistress to initiate the scene

I have a couple of questions - Is there a key to hold or press to skip through scenes? Also would you consider releasing some of those pictures seen hanging in the beginning in a high res wallpaper format png? I really love them.

May I suggest some improvements in movement. Slow start on joystick move make movent very difficult. Maybe on official version you can add option to disable slow start. Maybe even option to move in direction of body not head. So we can independently move head and body (like in most games).

I am having the same problem. So when we landed in the back room, our pov are locked on the floor level and can’t raise. We can still move around but will eventually stuck on floor.

i've found a bug everytime i try to play im stuck on the gound i can still move around the area but because im stuck on the ground i cant view the scenes in the mirrors

Awww. You changed the model for Boobed! I really hope in the full game you're doing the editor like in FD2 and I can have the old one back. She was my favourite!! Bit of a pity on this one, I've already hammered both scene's to death aha, The Churning is quite possibly my favourite scene besides Daughter and the sneak peak at the Finale. They are a whole other level!! Looking forward to the next Alpha already! Guessing that's gonna be headmistress and the security tapes and that? I wonder if there will be a scene I haven't seen in it. The problem with lapping them all up the second they are out is there's nothing new haha. Just the price to pay for getting an early glimpse I suppose. I wouldn't change it!
