I don't get any blackscreens but I still can't select all scenes as they are grayed out. The first time I loaded it though I swear none of them were grayed out. I have tried resetting the game etc to no fix. Other than that not many issues other than can't leave body and arms are twisted around..

It was build 3, seems fixed now, Had some glitches in build 4 though. Backrooms camera spawned near the ceiling for me, was hard to navigate. The wicked games intro had the character's arms glitching out to try to match the headset position while in a third person cutscene as well.

When you got build 3 so the first one that was really working well, is it worth it to download build 4? Or are there just small changes. Thx 👍

what happened before this problem? Are you playing the build 4? It sounds there is an issue with the scene incremental stepping. Reset the game!

Pico 4 + VD + SteamVR the build 4 is much more stable and better I couldn't see any black screen anymore and buttons and such worked also many trigger points works however backroom didn't show everything so far I only managed to find one scene where the mistress gives the guy a handjib while she sits on a stool, almost all of them worked flawlessly there's a few bugs where you remain in different camera angles and the arms are stretched out but eventually those issues corrects itself, I did experience some performance issue and steam always opening this annoying app, if I open VR overlay of steam and then head back to the game it can cause massive lag that takes a few minutes till it corrects itself. However this experience was much more enjoyable although the hottest out of all of them in my opinion is the wicked game, still hoping to see a hospital/clinic themed level in FD3 Alpha 3. At the end the story where he travels through tunnels and such there is a consistent black screen in the way however not in the way it would really affect other levels it's just there in the end not in my face but a bit in my face, anyway there's one thing I found a little annoying was the masoleum I spent hours trying to get that statue on top just to realize I had to press down the button with my camera which is odd. Regardless of that there's a few bugs here and there but do far the highlight is wicked game and cuckold.

Just tested again on Quest 2, everything worked for me this time! The only major issues I noticed were it was very easy to accidentally phase through walls and get trapped out of the scene in a lot of areas. factory, back rooms, and mausoleum mostly. . Also in some of the 3rd person scenes such as "wicked game" your characters arms are criss crossed. lastly it was very difficult to place the weight onto the button in mausoleum. It would always fall to the right of the screen (out of view) when I tried to place it, so I had to guess where it was going to land. It also would not let me pick up the gem next to the mother's body. I'm not sure if that's only because I reached the end of the playable build or not though. Sorry you're having to deal with the ungrateful comments, obviously a lot of people don't understand how much work goes into all this and don't read the fine print when you post.

Guys chill out. Jari is the only one developing this. He released scenes over the last year to give you glimpses of the game. Now he's stitching them together into a script. Eventually it'll be a full game. Quit bitching about wanting chronic new content. Go somewhere else, if you can't appreciate the process of watching someone develop art from scratch to final product. You don't understand Patreon if you came here to gripe about not having new content every day.

Hmm i would really like to help discover some Bugs and Stuff... but after multiple Trys downloading i give up... Build 3 and 4 are impossible for me to download (Germany) normaly i download with around 25mb/s but both servers (even MEGA) gave me only 200kb/s and download dies after 5-6 Minutes. So i wish you Guys good Luck in finding all of those nasty Bugs. Oh and Jari? Take your Time! You are Awsome! Even when you need a couple more Weeks. Take them.

I can't even get to the backrooms. i load into the main menu, hit "continue story" then it just fades to black and nothing happens

I totally agree. Went in hoping I'm gonna see more but it's just a compilation of clips I've seen through the years. Nothing new except the backrooms.

Having the black screen issue as well. Steam VR and Vive. Selecting continue loads us way outside the map, with a black square obscuring a portion of the scene. Cum factory and wicked game also load with a large black square seemingly tied to the headset's view, as it moves when I move my head to look around. It's not a black screen, but a black square that moves around the environment.

I hope this isn't a preview of the actual game. We have all seen all of this. Some of these scenes seem like a year old. Anyways, mine works pretty decent but I can't select some scenes. When I hit continue and after the colar ceremony I can't find the next elevator. Only one of the backrooms worked. Quest 3 using meta quest software only. Whole thing is glitchy but works I guess. Can'g go out of body most of the time or it screws up and you are and your arms are all over the place kind of hilarious.

Two game breaking bugs so far not sure if you implemented Test1, which worked fine still not sure whether you are supposed to fade to a black screen in test1 after testing the buttons however when playing the Alpha build 3. Every single scene doesn't work. I still get the black screen, but this time, it's facing in front of me a little further away, where I can barely look when playing a scene backroom doesn't work either its frozen and you're placed outside the map. Pico 4 + Virtual Desktop and Steam VR end up every single scene not working, they don't initiate. The only thing that works is the sound effects, but there's no motion, and none of the buttons work alongside with black screen covering your view which should have been fixed.

When i start the game i'm going to the main menu but i can not select anything with the Left Mouse Button; Right Mouse Button only exits the game.

how do you "rest" on the PC version? (hotkeys?) v key changes brightness and environment. cool. i moved the folder to my desktop and it seemed to load a lot better. but its almost like the next "load point" is stalling when you enter a door.

Pretty much same for me. I got the 'gtfo' from one door...seems the rest I get the 3rd person floating hair walking through the door then a freeze.

Jari, sounds like you've got the idea of the issue. Seems like all of us load straight from the sceneexe file directly into the backroom. None of us are getting loaded into the main menu and option to continue story mode.

do you need part 1 for this? i start at backrooms when i launch this, nothing happens after entering the door the game just freezes and many of the backroom jumpscares dont trigger pretty much all

Just downloaded it and it also doesn't load for me when I try to go throught the door in the beginning. Where you see the player in third person going in. Also only his hair is rendered.

I just finished testing on Oculus 2 via quest link. Every door I try to walk through just shows his hair texture and the voice lines start playing but then nothing happens. The one door where the chick tells you to fuck off does work.

In the beginning you are in this big room and search for the right door. When you go trough it there is a grafic problem were you just see the hair of the guy walking trough the door. After that nothing happens.

I tried to launch it a few times. I appear in maze corridor, approach different doors, just one of them show a girl from prev scene where she says "gtfo of here". All other doors just start to run some script: I see flying hair (my) enters any door, says something and then just black screen and nothing happens. it was in 2D mode, don't know about VR yet
