The FD3 timetable
🕑 Added 2024-02-29 23:03:37 +0000 UTCOk, I've done a LOTS of work to evaluate where we are, and at the moment it seems, IF all stars are aligned, we are good to go on July. This has been the most complex project I've ever done, and I don't want to do it again.
This is also one reason, why the FD4 will be released as an individual scenes. If I look this from the perspective of earned money, I look stupid. BUT, the money was never my goal. This is my passion.
I'm extremely tired for the questions about the release, and I play honestly. I also feel cornered about this, as there has never been a game I've promised to release but failed to do so. Also, you guys are obligated to know where we are. My estimation is SUPER honest, thinking what I have and what I'm missing. Please do understand, I'll do my best.
Another twist with all this comes with the fact that I found a super cool music composer and vo editor. Currently we are talking about the main title, the graphics around it, how the menu looks like and how the main title has been evolved to the next level. Then we go though EVERY scene done so far.
So, I have a lots of bits and pieces to put together, but if you guys know, I do this stuff alone, there is no funky 20 people team hanging around and drinking latte.
Puf, I just needed to get this out from my chest.

Like many other People i really look foreward to the release of FD3. BUT! I also want the Game in a State that you are comfy with to release. If it will be July. i am happy. If it will be 2025 i will also be happy! Because i know you work on it with all your Heart and you really do an amazing Job. Like Diligent said. screw Deadlines! and always remember Your Art is worth the Time to wait.

Screw deadlines. I mean, I know creative stuff is unique in the sense that it'll basically take as much time as you give it, and at some point you have to call it good. But even that being said, screw deadlines. Quality is more important.
People don’t understand what goes on behind the scenes. Patience is a virtue people. Would you rather something rushed and hastily completed, or something with time and effort that shows? These games are meant to be an experience, and Jari’s care and quality shows. I’m super excited for what’s to come but will happily wait for a more polished product for a better experience overall. Keep up the awesome work and don’t forget to recharge and take some self time too!
