Some background tech info, boring...
🕑 Added 2022-10-13 18:55:08 +0000 UTCOk, I thought to share something behind the scenes. Tomorrow you'll see when the new Queen levitates. This takes about 30 secs, but what's happening code wise is also interesting.
I tend to manipulate the animations in fly with the code, and with this levitating scene she actually never took off from the ground. What she does now, she goes up, rotates and lands back down.
How did I make her to do it?
First of all, I created a dummy animation; matching the timing of her lift off. I simply force her position to follow the dummy animation in y space. Secondly, when she takes off, I have to straighten all her toes naturally and rotate her thighs closer together. Again, matched animations from the dummy. Then smooth rotate her 360 degrees.
The code image is everything controlling this part when she levitates.
I also have to animate the light; when she lands, you can clearly see her face. Earlier, the light was focused on your privates :)
Just wanted to share a bit under the hood!
