It's been a challenging week
🕑 Added 2022-05-13 12:05:05 +0000 UTCI've been banging my head to the wall over a week now with the skin accurate physics. I must finally admit, I can't do it myself. So I've contacted one company to help with the feature.
The price tag is insane, but if they can pull this off, it would add completely new level of interactivity. I'm currently waiting for the papers to sign.
For this purpose, I had to create them a demo scene with characters, which will be used as a base for their work. The time estimation is currently 1 month with 4 coders, full time. Do the math of the costs....
These are the sample clips I sent to them as a reference (not my work):

The title image will be the first scene having this new feature, but I'm releasing next week the base work without it. The characters are now having the base layer (full body collision and physics). When adding the job done by the hired guns later on, this should look and feel amazing!
Have a great weekend guys!

Looks amazing is this going to be on the next produced project...

Very nice stuff, but if its anything like Virt-a-mate this will come at a performance cost.

Natural body physics in FD3 would be a great addition! But seeing those samples also makes me wish for a tall lady domination scene (in FD3)... :)
Road Force
Yes, that is really natural physic movement on that tremendously erotic scary woman. How about if you adding some matronly dominant character in the games. She would be perfect for a lovingly evil nurse ;-)

This sounds amazing!

Can’t wait Jari!

This company is doing surgical VR simulations for the industry, and having a 2 hour meeting few days back with the CEO confirmed me if it can be done, the can do it. We spoke the same language with the vertex deformations, gravity based accelerations etc. So I got a really good impression, dunno how the coders in that company accept this topic... Fingers crossed!

I hope you get your money’s worth, if this keeps on being successful you might want to start hiring these guys directly
