Technical mumbojumbo ahead... 😊
First the whining bit, then the sunshine…
At first, I was wrestling… a lot. After the Unity update from 2017->2019 I thought the body black areas would be gone… yep, they are, looks super; opening the privates doesn't create massive black areas around it. Reverting back to old scenes reminded me that all light baking data is gone. This is used to precalculate the scenes, so Unity just calculates the character lights and shadows. This gives easily 500% boost for the scenes. Ok, recalculate, not a bad thing, takes a couple of days for all the scenes.
When checking the scenes, I noticed all videos (holo & induction) are lagging like crazy. Maybe something wrong with my setup… yep, another day to investigate this. Turns out, Unity has a new bug now, where all videos are almost unplayable -> bug report.
The next issue; all cloths are broken. Great. It’s been broken since 2018. The skirt turns to a balloon etc. The fixed Unity release should come this month.
SO… what can I do to take things forward?
My plan is to make this now more a full game and release the following at the end of this month;
the menu, customization + the scenes ready so far. I have tons of all technical stuff to do, so it’s a perfect time to create those and wait for the Unity fixes.
However, you could comment the intro & the menu:
View HERE.
I’m asking this to get the best possible first impression of the look and feel.
And again, few days back I made yet another wallpaper for you, as an attachment.
Thank you for understanding, sometimes things are just out of my hands…

Awesome.. Can't wait to try it out... Glad to see the customization option too !!! Good Job !!!

Looks awesome. My main critique is that perhaps the story mode and continue buttons should be a bit more prominent? Right now the slew of scenes on the right is very visually distracting from the main buttons.

yes, it's motion capture, doing that manually would take months...

The menu/intro... nicely done! It gives of a really polished / professional vibe. Is the model animation motion capture? It looks really natural.
