YouTube's New "Reused Content" Rule
🕑 Added 2025-09-13 21:37:06 +0000 UTCHi all! Just a heads up that I am fighting for my YouTube Channel right now. YouTube made a new Rule in July that AI and some humans decided whether your channel is a worthy reaction channel or not.
I am making time after work to create a video to fight this. A video is what they asked for to explain why the "Reused Content" doesn't apply to me.
I am going to continue videos next week. Especially finishing Andor! Jessica and I are starting Wednesday Season 2 as well! So our shows and movies will continue on Patreon, but I'm not sure what I'll be doing with YouTube until this hopefully gets cleared up.
Thanks for listening!! Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

YouTube has had the most retarded censorship rules for a while now where youtubers cannot say standard English non-curse words like 'killed or 'suicide ' and have to say 'unalived' or 'self deleted' lol. Even normal curse or slang words get strikes. Its so dumb. As for copyright, all reaction videos are spreading exposure, awareness and popularity of a movie, its basically advertising. Also it can never be a replacement for watching a movie because it is on a small part of the screen with people talking and pausing. Also on YouTube it is missing alot of parts. So if people really like the movie they will watch the proper version on streaming or DVD etc. It just feels like either more oppressive YouTube censorship, or a ploy to get you to upgrade to some license where you pay YouTube more money.

Sorry to hear you’re dealing with this. Wish you the best possible and to not have to deal with any more YouTube nonsense for a long time after this gets resolved.
