Thank u!!! It seems like everyone is so high & mighty when it comes to Eren decisions. I just want people to realize that you truly have no idea what u would do until you’re walking in Eren’s shoes. If you’ve watched this show since episode 1 that means you’ve watched the events that turned him into what he is. He has a heartbreaking story like a lot of these characters, he just had the will & opportunity to do things a different way

Love your reactions and your thoughts. I’m gonna play devils advocate here Storm only because the discussions seem a little one sided. What Eren’s doing is unmistakably selfish, but it removes a lot of the nuance from his character to forget that he’s also being bizarrely selfless. In the episode you saw a flashback where Eren said he’s giving it all for his friends. He’s eliminating the world, damning himself, so his people and his friends and family are no longer persecuted for their “ethnicity.” You’re right, it’s a cycle. But in the new world people won’t discriminate Eldians for their capacity to turn into titans. A lot of it comes down to where you stand. Zeke stands with non-Eldians, Eren stands with Paradis. Last thing I’ll say is that it’s easy to say that they should just discuss and build negotiations with their “enemies” but the scouts and Eren tried that time and time again — we see that in Part 1 of Season 4. So I don’t know if it’s fair to say that this is a first resort — I think it’s much more likely that this is a last resort.
