This episode's an odd one because it was the first Season Premiere since the pilot which was 2 hrs. Both aired on the same night originally. I actually managed to watch this episode early online LIVE on a streaming site before it aired, because the show had an outdoor big screen press event premiere with all the stars in Hawaii, and a person staying at one of the hotels nearby managed to point their webcam at the big outdoor movie screen. So I saw this episode 1 week before most of the world did. It was a bit blurry and sound wasn't great but it worked. That was back when I'd SCOURE the internet for spoilers of shows/movies for ANYTHING I could find. I simply wanted to experience all aspects of my favorite tv/films as soon as possible and almost feel like part of the production seeing leaked images/press photos. I've even still got a few photos from Seasons 4-6 on my PC! Now, other than watching trailers I'm more about the experience of watching new things unspoiled in the moment and analyzing and speculating over what could be happening in photos of upcoming films/shows isn't fun for me. Juliet had some interesting words before she died. Good words to remember. Nice theory with the smoke monster and Locke, that would be quite a long con. So if the island is on the bottom of the ocean, does that mean it isn't calling to them? Does it not need them/they need it? And if there were no numbers being broadcast which Hurley heard from his friend Lenard in the psych word doing connect 4, and no numbers on the hatch, does that must mean Hurley didn't use those numbers to win the lottery? So I guess he must've won with different numbers, right? Does that mean he no longer is "cursed"? So it appears to be that whatever this is that's occurring with them on the plane, the island isn't a part of it. I guess since Desmond wasn't in the hatch, he's on the plane? Weird!
