For the upcoming episode 3, I would maybe recommend watching the first 3 Re:Zero shorts (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Break Time) afterwards. Especially the episode 3 short would answer 1-2 questions that are very likely to occur in episode 3. This mini-series should actually be contained in the Bluray. It is also available on Crunchyroll. The first 11 shorts are the "Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Break Time". Roughly speaking, a shorts episode belongs to the corresponding Re:Zero episode. These give sometimes a bit more insight into the characters and sometimes a bit of worldbuilding that didn't make it into the episode. The shorts are 2-3 minutes long each. From episode 12 onwards, the shorts are called "Re:Petit kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu", which are just funny clips without worldbuilding and are not related to the actual episode. In Season 2 they are then called "Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Break Time 2nd Season"

I've never watched this anime, so I'm watching it with Tee. I'm listening to the opening rn and just realized how the anime is like those games where if you fail, you go back to the very beginning every time. So hours of progress just gone. It hurts xD But I am enjoying it very much as well!
