Genre Movie POLL- Halloween/Horror
🕑 Added 2022-09-12 15:07:40 +0000 UTCThank you all for your great suggestions and requests! Please bear with us as we try out these new polls, we realize tweaks need to be made to the request post and we will fix that for next month. I chose this month's genre so it would fit the upcoming season, but I will put it to a vote for next month so keep an eye out for the "What Genre will we watch?" POLL to come out towards the end of this month.
Not all of the movies are listed below but some of the more requested titles are mentioned. Enjoy!
Vote on a movie below and help choose a winner!
Please keep in mind that most requested movies we are blind to. We don't know exactly what genre or how popular most movies are and rely on your comments to help guide us.
Thank you all for your support and happy voting!

If only 3 more people could vote for The Exorcist and create a tie we could have a Shutter Island and The Exorcist double feature. π€
Marvel Boy
With Prey don't forget about Predator 2

Yes definitely, although then we should be asking whether only suggesting movies they would like is okay. It's understandable wanting them to have a good time, but in fairness exposing them to a variety of cinema is the better deal. Having said that, I've been studying filmmaking for 10 years, so I'm alittle biased haha.

I want them to see Addams Family Values, but I feel like they NEED to see Tremors.

Ha. I saw your suggestion of Splice. And I thought there is no way they would enjoy that. (Though the reaction might've been entertaining due to awkwardness.)

JFYI There are 2 Little Shop of horrors movies, both of which have cult followings, only one version having one bigger than the other. There is the 1960 Roger Corman original that inspired the broadway musical that the 1986 one is based on. The 1986 one is the version that has the bigger cult following.

Omg who is telling you to skip Halloween 3? What a shame.

Also you should watch the director's cut of Doctor Sleep (2019) the adaptation of the same book by Stephen King, directed by one of my favorite modern horror directors Mike Flanagan π

Noooooo don't skip Halloween 3 !! πππ so listen, I know it's a weird one cause it's an anthology idea, and is not connected to the Michael Myers lore... BUT as a standalone horror tale ? It's actually one of my favorite horror movies of all time. Like, the atmosphere is crazy in that one, and the score is proudly haunting my playlist every Hallow's Eve ππ

Unfortunate none of my movies were placed, but thinking on it thatβs probably a good thing. Movies like Splice or Under the Skin may be too much lol.
