Oh yeah, I know what you mean abt satosugu. It's not definitely there, and it doesn't have to be, but there would be no seam, no fissure at all if you were to say it's canon, and insert it into the blank spaces the author has left in the narrative. Not a lot of things would change. It just works.

Personally, I'm a rather fresh JJK fan (started in February), and I never actively seek such relationships when first watching/ reading, and I can say for certain that many pairings are just fandom shipping & that's okay, but as for Satoru & Suguru, I, watching and reading, interpret that they love each other. As in, this kind of love. Geez, English lg... should I just say, not completely platonic? I could say, hm, soulmates? Sb else might interpret stuff differently, but as for me, there's just no room for doubt here. Whether I want it or not, there's love between these two. Just IMHO. And I'm talking exlicitly about Satoru & Suguru. I could no more deny their feeling than I could deny (checks the name, I still call him Mechamaru) Kokichi Muta's youthful awkward crush on Miwa. (I love his crush.) So that's all just my interpretation of the text, whether I wanted it or not. I was NOT looking for it. It's just there in the text in my interpretation. And I'm a very Death of the Author kind of person with novels, movies, comics etc. So it's just there IMHO. And if sb has another interpretation, cool. Great. Works for him, or smth, neat. Won't change mine. Each person has their own eyes and ears and that's cool. 😀 (for another example: Megumi and Nobara aren't in love, neither are Yuuji & Nobara, etc. Any combination from our main three, is not in this kind of love in my interpretation. I would ship them! In fanfiction. But in the text, well, they are not in this kind of love and that's okay.)

Hey I think you misunderstood the veils. As I understand it when you make a veil you set conditions. You can only set conditions in terms of things with cursed energy: So you can say: this veil lets only people with X amount of cursed energy enter / leave. (Aka sorcerers, maybe you can set the level) You can also be specific: Only Gojo cannot enter / all non sorcerers cannot leave etc (THEY ALSO HAVE CURSED ENERGY) But you cannot say: this veil blocks phone signals, because phone signals are things and don’t have cursed energy. That doesn’t mean that the veil doesn’t block them, apparently that’s just a side effect because I’m sure the phone signal gets distorted or something. Similarly you probably could say: no cursed tools can enter, but you couldn’t say: no one with a weapon can enter Also when you say that Mechamaru should’ve run: he literally couldn’t have. Geto drew a veil above the area, I’m 100% sure the condition would’ve stopped him from leaving.

Also regarding simple domain, back in season 1 when Hanami was chasing Kamo and Fushiguro, Kamo thought to himself he should reunite with either Todo or atleast Miwa, now we now why. Miwa can use simple domain so even though she is kinda weak she can protect herself and others from a domain, on episode 7 what Mechamaru did was basically copy Miwa's simple domain although it doesn't seem like he was skillful enough to do it in the heat of battle which is why he had the technique preloaded and could only use it 4 times.
