I don't know if his stance on this has changed but I heard he did not feel comfortable watching Arcane because of his history of addiction to League and its lootbox systems. I don't have a source for the comfort part but he does indeed talk about his past addiction in his Odd Taxi reaction. If it's indeed true then it is a bit of a shame because Arcane is so unbelievably fucking good but I can respect his decision.

This is way better than season 1. After the first 12 episodes of Season 1 it bored me to death. No clear direction in the story.

I appreciate the revised artstyle, not to dunk on season one's at all, but I find this much better and more pleasing to the eye even with all the new things they're trying out. I have seen people describe it as "simplified" which is... Sure a statement. We're into the good stuff now! Also, I was embarssed by how quickly I recognised Takehito Kosayu and thought "oh hey Dio".
