For people complaining about JJK not been deep enough, he watched Demon Slayer and he enjoyed it, even loved it. So I don't see the problem, especially when JJK is better than DS in my book

So I had a break over the holidays and come to find Re:zero is getting even closer to being watched, I literally never thought that it would happen so to get to a 50/50 is super meaningful to me... I just wish they both weren't year long investments. I like JJK a lot and normally wouldn't mind it winning but I worry that, in another year, Re:zero might not have another shot

Thanks for summarizing most of the comments here, lol It is impressive that someone as reasonable and open-minded as Tee can have so many weird rabid fans, though I guess it is just a vocal minority + the internet effect of a RE0 fan seeing a JJK fan shitting on RE0 (or vice-versa) and deciding to shit on the other show as a way of "payback". I refuse to believe the people here are this horrible normally.

yo dawg i don't get this claim, and spoiler warning, but the animation isn't by any means a massive step down from season 1. I noticed no major differences, and even a fight scene that impressed me around halfway through. It's also just not necessary to have sakuga throughout season two as it's a lot more chilled back anyway

Why would that matter? Whether the show fits some arbitrary alliterative theme should have no impact on how people vote whatsoever. It can just get rescheduled to a different day, or the theme for the day can just change completely...

I truly just don't think Re:Zero fits the friday slot. Sure, its a great anime with some occasional fights, but that's far from the focus of the show. JJK, on the other hand, is also a great show where the fights are prominent and are treated as such within the plot.

JJK really has a lot of potential, plot has been getting pretty good, S2 was really amazing not only in animation, so I think Teeaboo will really like the meaning of what they're trying to convey in the series
