Burnice - WIP 2

I've gotten started on the rough animation and have finished the portion for the intro scene. I expanded it from the storyboard into six cuts to better sync up with the dialogue that I came up with.
I'm trying to improve upon a few things I wasn't satisfied with in the Ellen Joe animation, and one of the main things for me was the intro. My two main issues with it are that it was a little short to really set up the scene (which wasn't that big of a deal assuming you're familiar with the trailer) and also that some of the movements felt a bit stiff.
Since I need to make the intro scene a bit longer this time around to properly set the scene, I made an effort to try and improve on my character acting animation and make them a bit more expressive. I found that animating the lip flaps for the dialogue really helped me with drawing matching expressions and such, though I suspect I'll have to tweak the timings a bunch once I get it dubbed. I don't really mind though, since I think having a more expressive rough animations will help the VAs as well with understanding the tone I'm trying to go for, and I won't have to rely as much on my amateur vocal direction XD

Thanks! I had the same thought when I watched her trailer lol. It would be a good scene to make an animation from if she wins a poll at some point.

Ya mentioned how its nice for ya to take inspiration from actual content from the game,like the premise for ellen was her reveal thingy n such,think ya could maybe use Pulchra´s spa day video as insperation/premise?like when she is on her back getting massaged she gets more then just that and one on both sides n such?love the animations btw hehe
