Uhhhh... well basically Amber saw Neri came from a different monster that wasn't the meatipede when she first popped into the house and turns out maybe that one wasn't super great. Annnnd maybe that's why Raziel's been more of a turd, as that's the first thing he found when arriving at Katherine and Amber's house the first time.
When Neri starts being aware/ conscious of the world, they were already the kinda whitish demon that started bleeding the red coloration. (for reference) She doesn't remember anything in the time from leaving hell until that point, so now we're getting a bit more context.

Close! It's something a bit more solid and inbetween that. We haven't actually seen it at any point yet!

I assume the big shadowy thing that snaps neri up at 2 am has the same apperance as the form she had when she terrorized the family?

No worries. As this'll be in the same book it'll be easier for folks then, but I get this is like a year and a half ago, haha.

Thank you for the breakdown. I went back to reread that part of the story again this time with a prospective you just given me it makes a lot more sense and seems to have a lot more depth. I apologize for not catching up before.
