OK, we've both been working our asses off this week in the vainglorious hope of getting both parts of the finale complete for release today - and unfortunately, today has thoroughly kicked said asses when it came to polishing and finalising the last two-hour section, throwing up a bunch of final headaches.
So we're getting Part One out to everyone today, and we're going to push back Part Two to Monday (that's Monday 22nd) so we can take a breath over the weekend and make sure we're not rushing the climax out of the door in a less-than-fit condition.
I do consider this a two-part episode, but this first half can be listened to on its own with no issues.

This was absolutely gorgeous. Dan's speech in particular moved me to tears, as did Val's mercy. I cannot wait to be ruined by Carpenter and Faulkner's reunion, and hopefully Hayward and Paige's as well.

I honestly don’t know which of the speeches given in this first part was the most powerful. Carpenter’s powerful bad ass do you know who I am, Paige laying out the future of the group, DAN? Where did that come from??, or Val showing her humanity. Brilliantly performed as always. I am gutted knowing that this next section is the last and yet I cannot wait to hear it come together. Thank you all for making this show happen!
