A/N: So, to understand this you have to know that minotaurs are extremely sex positive.
Minotaur (Ambrose) x fem!reader || sfw, tooth-rooting fluff
After the morning activities, your body was tired in the best way possible, but you were still wired. You were wearing the cute red mini-dress you bought a couple weeks ago, and you felt as beautiful as a butterfly in it, and Ambrose complimenting you every time you turned around was doing marvels to your self-confidence. (And maybe was making your pussy feel all tingly.)
But that still didn’t help with your nervousness.
There was still an underlying pressure inside your brain as Ambrose drove to your in-laws. Minotaur families were big, and Ambrose’s wasn’t different. They weren’t only a big family, but a tight one on top of it, so you felt a bit out of place every time you meet with them. It was fine, you knew it was fine, but for some reason, every time you were to spend time with them, you still ached with nerves.
But today was especially nerve-wracking because it was Christmas. Christmas morning with the in-laws, with the minotaur in-laws, people who loved Christmas so much their house looked like an amusement park from the outside, all bright and fun. You weren’t used to that, and it was driving you a bit crazy.
You bought a present for each one of them, and you put so much thought behind them that you were dying to know what they thought of them. But also, you were dreading it. What if they didn’t like them? What if they started hating you because they were awful gifts? Oh goddess, what if they forbid you from seeing Ambrose again because your presents were that bad?
Your inner turmoil was cut short when Ambrose asked: “What’s the matter, sunshine? Your smell and heartbeat are all over the place.” There was worry written all over his face.
“I- It’s nothing,” you mumbled, too embarrassed to confess your concerns.
He frowned, his profile looking mean for a total of two seconds before he talked again. “Don’t go there. You know we are in this together. We don’t hide stuff from each other, do we?”
He stared at you, his horns gracing the top of the car as he frowned in your direction. It lasted less than a second before he was looking at the road again, but only made you feel worse. You didn’t want to worry him, it had nothing to do with the him, it was just your brain being mean. He didn’t need to worry about it, you could deal with it on your own… Right?
“Answer me, do we hide stuff from each other?” His tone had an edge of pain that hurt you deeply, making you squirm in your seat as you felt your heart breaking a tiny bit.
“N-no,” you stuttered.
He was right, you didn’t do that to each other anymore, hiding what you felt caused too much pining in the past, and you agreed not to do it again. But it was hard sometimes, to tell him everything that worried you. You were a worrier, you had always something to worry about, damn it. If you had to tell him every single thing you would never be apart. But thinking about it… that didn’t seem like such a bad idea.
“So what’s on your mind, sunshine?” His voice was soft once again, a tiny smile playing on the corner of his lips. You wanted to kiss it, but you knew that would be dangerous, he was driving.
“I- I’m just nervous. What if they don’t like the presents I’ve got them? What if they think I’m invading their space in their special day?” You finally let out, a choked gasp escaping your mouth. You know most of it is self-doubt, but at the same time… what if?
“Oh, sunshine…” He whispered, his voice so soft and caring you felt like you were about to cry for real.
But then he stopped the car, parking on a random street and unbuckling you. He pulled you against his body, your legs at either side of the seat and making you have all kinds of dirty thoughts.
But he broke your horniness instantly: “They love you. I love you. They are going to love everything you got them and they are going to love to have you there.” He punctuated each word with a kiss to your temple, making you feel special.
You pulled back, staring into his eyes intently. “How can you know that?” You tried not to pout, but you ended up doing it either way. He chuckled lightly, kissing it away.
“Because I know them. And I know you. There’s no way my family is not in love with you,” you sniffle, hiding your face in his neck, emotions overtaking you. “In a slightly different way that I am,” he added to make you laugh. You let out a wet chuckle. “I tell you what, if they don’t like your presents I’ll let you do whatever you want with me later,” the innuendo in his tone clear.
“How is that a consolation prize?” You asked with a giggle, your eyes blurry with unshod tears.
“You have fun, I have fun, I’d say it’s a good prize for both of us,” he teased, his hands slipping under the hem of your dress and touching your matching red panties. You whined softly, and he grunted. “Stop, we can’t get caught fucking on the side of the road.”
“We can’t?” You answered as you dismounted his lap, rubbing against his hard on to make him as horny as you felt. He groaned, looking at you with hungry eyes.
“We can’t. We have gifts to deliver,” he said all serious, as if it was his duty to do so and throwing you in a fit of giggles as he started the car again, your nerves a bit calmed.
Everyone was cheerful when you walked in, Ambrose gathered the kids in his arms and spun them around as they screamed in glee, making you smile as you carried the presents. The kids were first opening everything, getting super excited over the art supplies you got them, and instantly asking to go play with them, which worked wonders because that meant the adults could exchange presents without tiny ears and eyes looking.
They all insisted on starting with you, shoving presents your way until you were giggling. You opened the first present and had to cover your mouth to stop the gasp from escaping. In your hands was a very explicit, very hot lingerie set in the prettiest shade of red ever.
You looked around until your eyes landed on your sister in law, covering her mouth to stop from bursting out laughing as she stared at you with a glint of mischief in her eyes. You looked around, trying to know if someone else knew, your mother in law was equally amused, and your stupid boyfriend was smirking so big his face was going to split in two.
You never got used to how sex-positive the minotaurs were. It was refreshing, but also made you a bit shy.
You opened a few more gifts, some cute socks for your cold feet, some pretty sun-covers for you to wear outside, a pretty red lipstick that would “look great on you” (as per Ambrose’s sister’s opinion) and some art supplies you wanted for a long time. Ambrose gave you a huge plushie, and whispered against your ear that the real present was inside his pants, making you choke out a laugh so loud everyone stared at you.
And then it was Ambrose’s turn. He picked out the present with the cute cow-print paper, the one you got for him as a joke. You held out your breath when he was opening it, knowing full well what was inside. He opened it with careful fingers, and when he saw what the text on the shirt, big bold letters writing “milk machine”, he burst out laughing so hard you saw tears in his eyes. He turned it around for his family to see, making all of them burst of laughing as your face flushed bright red.
“You like it?” You asked when his laugh died down a bit.
“I fucking love it. I love you.” He leaned across the sofa to kiss your forehead, making your heart go crazy. “Thank you so much, I will wear this to work tomorrow,” he assured you, making you smile.
After that, all felt like a dream. They made you feel like one more, they made you feel like you belong with them and your heart felt so full it was about to explode.
Your nerves calmed down while you ate lunch, but when you were leaving, it returned with a vengeance when you remembered that you had a “special surprise” reserved for Ambrose at home. One that, hopefully, would make both of you extremely happy…
