FMG Life Sim 2025 Descriptions Update Alpha 1 + Poll

The Alpha 1 for the 2025 Description Update has been sent out to Early Access patrons! If you processed an Early Access pledge during the month of April and did not receive a DM, please send me DM here on Patreon.
2025 Description Update Alpha 1 Notes:
- Sleep screen (waking up) now has 50 unique short descriptions of the girlfriend while she examines herself based on muscle level. (1500+ words)
- Added all of the images created of her looking in a mirror to their appropriate muscle levels on this screen.
- Added an unreleased level 1 image of the girlfriend observing herself in the mirror. Added an unreleased variation of the muscle level 22 art where she's in front of a mirror.
- Living room now mentions a random upgrade/creation currently in the apartment (or the lack of any), with it defaulting to the Goddess Chamber if that is built. [18 total variations at this time] (this may or may not be expanded in the future to offer a kind of hint of what to focus on next to progress in the game)
- Living room now mentions the girlfriend's Goddess Search medal progress with 8 unique lines (1 no medals, and 1 for each number of medals)
- Added descriptions to the equipment in change equipment screen (brief ones, but they offer basic usage guidance).
- Moved the 'posture' quick descriptions to always appear after the girlfriend's name. Planning on expanding these descriptions further in a interpersonal competitions focused update in which some kind of basic weight formula would be introduced.
- Upgrades and creations technology levels are now higher and more normalized - this is to increase consistency throughout this high tech + magic infused world, and to also help explain how people living in an apartment can have all these large things:
- Ulric now mentions additional high-tech capabilities of the treadmill (folding portability), yoga mat (haptic sensors), punching bag (ability for bag to shrink down/grow)
- Peter now mentions additional high-tech capabilities of the gravity chamber (compacts down to a cube size and can unpack from it as well), stretcher (folding capabilities), kinetic battery charger (folding capabilities), restoration chamber (cube compaction capability), and that the focusing laser itself is actually fairly small
- Jump Rope now mentions its special fibers when used by the girlfriend with 20+ strength
- Yoga now describes the holographic instructor a little and mentions a calibration for the haptic sensors.
- If girlfriend with 20+ strength is involved with pull ups, it now mentions the anti-gravity features activating to accommodate her weight.
- both/coaching/watching Treadmill now mentions it being unfolded.
- Retouched stretcher initial description.
- Kinetic Battery Charger now mentions being unfolded.
- Job center now has computers that give instant assessments, rather than interviews.
[Books and Devil's Machine were left out of this because they're intended to be revamped in a Skills update and Transfer/other update respectively.]
Current Roadmap:
Alpha 2 - Improve workouts based on poll results. Also planning on revamping the 'Do Nothing' activity so the characters rest in bed together with new descriptions.
Alpha 3 Tentative - If needed, a third alpha may occur to add more content.
Beta 1 - Full playtest with any bugs found fixed.
The following aspects of the game are not planned to be changed this update, as there are plans for them in the future:
- Job descriptions: Most job descriptions will be beefed up in the Skills update (as each job will have more skills relevant to it that determine how well a character does at the job). Streaming jobs will be revamped in the Fame update (which will introduce mechanics like social media followers).
- General girlfriend descriptions (when you click on her name in the living room): Planning on adding these as more art of her is created over time.
- General player descriptions (when you click on his name in the living room): Same as above, but also during a potential Player character focused update.
- Armwrestling, comparisons, competitions (like the debate): Planning on revamping all of this in a Competitions update
- Potions: Planning on revamping these in an alchemy update
- Creation descriptions: Planning on revamping creations in their own update as well.
This poll is lasting less time than usual so I can implement the results sooner, and only 1 option is allowed this, so pick what sounds best!
Some elaboration on what these choices mean:
- Add more incremental levels to existing workouts and activities: Most of the activities/workouts have level ranges for each description. For example, an activity might display a description when the GF has muscle between level 25 and 30. Adding more incremental levels would split this into 2 different descriptions (like level 25, 26, 27 for one and level 28, 29, 30 for the other).
- Add some amount of randomization to existing workouts and activities: Instead of creating more level increments, I'd look into making alternate versions of existing descriptions so when you repeat the same activity twice at the same level range it can change.

A transfer update would be so fun! It would open so many interesting game modes. Imagine if you created a scenario where the girlfriend has really low growth rate, but has tons of opportunity to transfer from both the boyfriend as well as strangers. It would also a ton of flavor text and would be cool to allow you train random folks instead of just named NPCs.
