I remember at this point of the comic, though, I had completely been bitten by the lighting bug and couldn’t not do it this way.

At this point, I was really doing most of the drawing work in the roughs. Trying to get very very specific drawings down.

But still here in the inks I was making changes. I think the changes in the first panel are very effective, but I’m not so sure about the last panel. I’m still not convinced by Wilfrith’s face. I was under a lot of pressure to finish these really quickly (for me), so workshopping faces over and over and over had to stop at some point.

Love me a guy with an ungroomed hairy back~ one of the ways in which you've influenced what I appreciate in art (as well as what I seek to put out), only reason I haven't done so (besides being lazy) is I need to get better at capturing that 'it' factor you put into it, that spontaneous life-like spice.
