The preview video attached to this post is the first of three I’ll be releasing. The next will be an extensive showcase of gameplay clips in first and third person demonstrating Gamma and LCS across every weather type and time of day. The final video will be a complete download and usage guide, walking through all of the filter’s features in both Gamma and LCS.
It has been nearly four months since my last post which is a very long time for a PP-Filter update. In this time I have started many projects which I plan on releasing very soon and I'm confident when saying GarryReal V1.30 represents a complete visual evolution. Almost every aspect of the filter has been refined internally, while the UI is still familiar to version 1.27, with subtle updates such as the new Style tab, a refreshed colour scheme and feature additions and reworks.
What has Changed?
The overall look of the ppfilter has been transformed through advanced tonemapping, new colour profiles, and redesigned world lighting.
In version 1.27, GarryReal carried a strong blue tint caused by inaccurate world lighting and intensified by blue shift. Version 1.30 eliminates this issue entirely, now delivering the most accurate and natural world lighting of any ppfilter.
Glare and other aspects of the filter like colour profiles have also been thoroughly improved. The LCS version of the filter has received the biggest changes to world lighting as I now override Pure's light colour control at day for better reproduction of the style of the Gamma version.
GarryReal's VR and HDR scripts now fully support both LCS and Gamma, making it the first and only filter to deliver complete compatibility across all of these systems. I’ve also tested Alternative PP and considered adding support, but ultimately found little benefit in doing so. However, if there’s enough demand from users who regularly rely on Alternative PP, I’ll release a dedicated version with full support.
Equally important is GarryReal V1.30's new modular design through style presets, allowing users to fully customise the mood of the filter quickly and easily instead of spending time messing with separate settings. Currently, three presets are included: Legacy – the classic GarryReal look, prioritising realism and neutral visuals, Apex – a cinematic preset with deeper blacks, stronger contrast and reduced fog and Reverie – a dreamlike preset with heavy sunset fog, dramatic godrays, intensified glare, and richer colours. Each preset requires pressing the Load button in Pure PP to laod it fully, as they apply unique UI values tied to their style like the night colour profiles where Legacy uses Filmic, Apex uses Filmic+, and Reverie uses NFS.
GarryFx's sharpening has also been reworked completely following complaints from many users. The sharpening effect is also now disabled by default to prevent issues with different CSP setups.

Hi! How can I see the presets (like "Legacy" or "Apex",..) I can't find it where to change the presets..? I've looked in game in the "Pure PP" mod, but I can't see the different presets you said..? Also inpurePP it's wright "the current PP-filter has no Pure Script!" "The PP-filter may not function correctly with Pure!" Thanks for helping.

The settings in the video were just on defaults i only changed the style presets in some clips and it says which preset was used in the video

Most advanced? Give us a break. Must be desperate for money. He says the same thing every update, and is still not better than pure's default ppfs lol
