Updates, New Download System Coming in 1-2 weeks
🕑 Added 2025-04-29 16:17:59 +0000 UTCThanks to a helpful start by a software engineer, I was able to find another method to deliver the experiences!
Google drive has served me well the last few years, and it seems for 95% of all members it has worked very smoothly. But there were occasional download quota limits that hindered a smooth download experience for the remaining 5%. Thankfully as a different member pointed out, there is a workaround to this limit but it requires a little work on the user side by searching “bypass Google drive quota” - but these extra steps detract from the download experience for those 5% of members.
I am in the process of moving the entire library to a CDN with global distribution and centralized regional distribution in four distinct regions of the world for fast and -most importantly - limit free download access to all the new and existing experiences using download links.
I expect this to take about 1-2 more weeks for full implementation. As such, I will need to push back the “Jamestown” experience 1 week to May 7/8 . I expect to distribute “Jamestown” using download links and I will have the remainder of the library available through download links about a week after that. Thank you so much for patience and understanding on this schedule delay.
In Jamestown, you will join Sarah and I as we experience the rich history of the first permanent English settlement in North America. Blacksmithing, glass blowing, and a treasure trove of history awaits in this engaging and comedic experience.
Due to a scheduling conflict with the actress, I will need to cancel the Jupiter Florida experience. Through the helpful feedback I received from members on my last post, Vancouver Canada is being replaced by “Portland Oregon Experience” and “Crater Lake + Sequoia National park experience”
Here is the updated schedule:
May 7/8 - Jamestown
May 21 - First Landing, Virginia Beach (Confirmed)
June 14 - Washington DC Experience (Confirmed)
July 11 - Portland Oregon Experience (Confirmed)
July 29 - Crater Lake + Sequioa National Park (Confirmed)
August - San Diego Comic Con (Confirmed)
Thank you for giving me the ability to continue creating immersive experiences that will help millions of people world wide.
None of this would be possible without your monthly support and for that I am eternally grateful.
