Sorry I don't quite understand the criteria. I will always toss up the ones I know would make a friend of mine happy too though. Gadget Hackwrench from Rescue Rangers or Captain Amelia from Treasure Planet.

Are you taking requests here? Generally, I think pokemon is a good suggestion. Other good franchises are also mario, splatoon and ace attorney.
