🕑 Added 2020-05-12 21:38:26 +0000 UTCAge is a major risk for cardiovascular diseases. Although mitochondrial reactive oxygen species (ROS) have been proposed as one of the causes of aging, their role in cardiac aging remains unclear. Tests have been done, showing that that overexpression of catalase targeted to mitochondria (mCAT) prolongs murine median lifespan by 17-21%.
This works in the same way for you, by directing the Catalase to Mitochondria.
It may not have drastic effects on younger people but older or with the modern day commercial diet it should be very helpful.
